Tarte Flambee(smoked salmon) at Gathering Table Pantry

Japan is aging. Many companys are struggling with labor shortage.

This is why Japanese food service company, Royal holdings opened a new style restaurant, Gathering Table Pantry in Bakuro-cho, Tokyo.

I visited the restaurant for lunch with my family. This restaurrant don't have gas stove and kitchenwares. It means there are no chefs. All meals are cooked by convection oven. Only three staffs were working this day.

We ordered some short pastaa and grilled chicken etc. The photo is tarte flambee. Smoked salmon, sliced onion and caper were put on a thin crispy crust on which cheese was pasted. It was so good.

It seems their trial is working well because they opend this second restaurant in Futako-tamagawa, Tokyo. I'd like to try another dishes next time.
